FUNDRAISER IDEAS

UKRAINIAN DINNER
Turn a hall into a Ukrainian restaurant and have the group dress Ukrainian as they serve a basic dish to those who have purchased tickets. Suggested meal: borsch, fried potatoes and chicken Kiev. Have volunteer cooks assist with the preparation of the meal. Another suggestion would be to have the families of the group cook so they can have a chance to work together.

SERVANT AUCTION
Auction off group members to become "servants" working for a set amount per hour paid to the group fund.

INDIVIDUAL SPONSORSHIP
Group members can obtain individual sponsors by personal request.

RESTAURANT FUNDRAISER EVENT
Many restaurants will donate up to 25% of food and beverage net sales generated by your nonprofit group's members and friends on a specified day to help a missions group. This is done by handing out discount flyers which are presented with a purchase. Contact area restaurants to see if they participate in these programs.

BAKE SALES AND CAR WASHES
Sales are always a guaranteed fundraiser. Be creative and add a new angle by having a "sugarless bake sale" or a chocolate-lovers "bake sale". For a car wash fundraiser add a twist like a "car wash and wax" while people pay to hit adult leaders of the group with water balloons or whipped cream. The most successful car washes are FREE with only donations requested.

YARD SALE
Collect items from others and make them treasures by selling clothing, furniture, car parts, electrical appliances, etc. in a profitable yard sale. Be sure to promote the cause during the sale for additional exposure.
